Illinois Passes Historic McCormick Place Reform Legislation That Will Benefit AMI ExhibitorsMonday, May 10, 2010
(American Meat Institute)
The Illinois General Assembly has passed comprehensive legislation that makes sweeping positive changes to McCormick Place, home of the 2011 AMI International Meat, Poultry and Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition.
The legislation is being hailed as a big win for tradeshow customers as it dramatically impacts costs for their exhibitors. The language includes significant work rule changes, greater flexibility for booth construction and an appointment of a trustee to implement changes starting now through the next 18 months.
